I bought these for my 7yr old - fit really well and kept finger warm on a chilly Yorkshire morning. My son does have quite long hands though.

Bought the mini size gloves for my son who plays U8. He had short finger Gilberts but his finger tips got painfully cold. These gloves are grippy - good size and pleased that they're so warm with their fleece lining. 2 stars though because after his first training session, two of the fingers came unstitched at the seam. I'm going to return them and try another pair and review them again - maybe this is a 'rogue' pair - we'll see.

Becky H on 25 Sep 2012 asked "Hi What size would you recommend for a 9.5 year old please? He is slim build. Thanks"
Pro Sport UK.Com replied: Probably Small Boys, but it is very hard to guess hand measurements. There is a size guide on the pack which uses the measurement across the palm of the hand just below the knuckles. The approx measurements are: SB (7.1cm), LB (7.7cm), Small (8.2cm), Medium (8.8cm), Large (9.4cm), XL (10cm). I hope this helps.
Stuart H on 19 Feb 2012 asked "Hi- what size do I need for a fairly slightly built 8 year old? I'm thinking small boy but wouldn't that be right? Thanks. "
Pro Sport UK.Com replied: Yes. I would recommend Small Boys for an eight year old.
