Sorbothane Double Strike Insoles provide underfoot cushioning and absorbs around 95% of the damaging forces generated by heel strike shock waves. Quite simply, they protect the body every time a step is taken. Sorbothane Double Strike Insoles can prevent and alleviate symptoms relating to many common sports injuries, including Achilles Tendonitis, shin splints, low back pain, muscle strain and fatigue. The Sorbothane Double Strike Insoles are moulded footbeds with arch supports which totally replace the existing insoles. Sorbothane in the heel and ball of foot areas gives protection against the shear and torque forces produced when twisting and turning in activities such as racquet sports, basketball, football and hill walking. Available in sizes: 3-4, 5-6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11-12.

Pro Sport UK.Com replied: It depends how the pain is caused. If it is caused by heel strike the heel inserts will be fine. However, if the pain is caused by shock through other parts of the foot then a full insert would be best. If you are unsure, a full insole or orthotic would be the best option.

Colin on 29 Jan 2012 asked "I am looking for a Sorbothane insole to help prevent running injury problems. I have no problems at the moment, but have been increasing my mileage for marathon training. Which product do you recommend for runners? Shoe size is 10.5, so do I order a larger size and cut it down, or simply fit a size 10? Thanks."

Pro Sport UK.Com replied: The double strike insole is ideal for running shoes as it replaces the existing insole in the shoe. Buy the size 11 and trim the end slightly to fit.

Steve W on 01 Nov 2011 asked "My Question... My GP recommends Sorbothane insoles for treatment of occasional foot pain which may be metatarsitis or Morton's neuroma. There is too much choice and insufficient information to help decide which type is appropriate for these conditions. Please suggest which type woud be best. I believe better arch support would be most helpful. No sport requirement, just constant daily use and hill walking. Thank you. SW."

Pro Sport UK.Com replied: I think that the Sorbothane Sorbo-Pro insoles would be the most suitable. The heel cup holds the heel in position and the stabilising arch cradles the bones of the foot to reduce pronation.
